THREE ISOLATED BEDS

The installation comprises three metal structures that uphold isolated spacesof different dimensions, which communicate with each other through the glass of windows. The installation departs from my interest in reformulating the process of drawing as a symbolic architecture.
That is, observing the transformation of a plane that, from the point of view of physical nature, has both asymmetric and three-dimensional feature . I am interested in the representation of the "asymmetry" reflected in the pieces as well as the idea that amounts to "the imperfect" within its conceptual implications. The “bed” as an archetype that tells us about the residence of intimate enclosure and, therefore, about a heterogeneous space: there is no perfect bed, just as there's not only one type of bed. Beds are a place where dreams and nightmares coexist. Along with this, these architectural sculptures also represent places for resting, so that within a political context, such as art, "doing nothing" becomes a political and, therefore, a paradoxical position. The paradox is also asymmetric.
