42 boxes, each the size of a letter sheet (8.5x11), made of transparent acrylic. Each box contains a material used in construction, representative of what I call 'techno history.' It's a synthesis of Mexico City's history based on the evolution of housing technology, urban planning, and architecture, containing ecological, political, economic, and cultural knowledge of the territory. I'm interested in the possibility of manipulating these boxes as vessels of history, using them as a pretext to develop a non-linear self-knowledge, but rather an organic and manipulable one. The research proposal for the Tlatelolco Biennial and Central de Maquetas focuses on collecting objects from the Tlatelolco area in Mexico City to create a timeline that reflects the site’s history through its built landscape. Although these objects lack strict archaeological value, they are attributed symbolic significance as "relics." The process of discovery, cleaning, preservation, and archaeological classification is recreated, referencing the work of archaeologists who uncovered the pyramids in Tlatelolco in the 1940s. Ultimately, the objects are preserved and organized within a fictional timeline based on the phases of construction.
